No really I'm busy

I spend probably 8-10 hours a day attached to the net in some way or another. Mostly it's while, like now, I'm working. Yes I am working and blogging @ teh same time. It's easy when you have multiple monitors and no supervision. One of the many things that has filled my life with newfound joy (my amazing fiance aside) is this great website for geeks like me. It's called thinkgeek. They have just teh tastiest geek toys ever. I have spent far, far too much time there. Below are some random quotes from the site that caught my eye and made me laugh.

It might look like I'm doing nothing, but at the cellular level I'm really quite busy

You are not a beautiful and uniqe snowflake,
you are the same decaying organic matter as everything else....

pass the salt please.

I'm lost. I'm going to find myself. If I return before I get back, please let me know.

I just know there is a duck somewhere...watching me...

If there's anything more important than my ego around I want it caught and shot now.

I wanna own a strip club full of monkies on steroids.

The other day, I was in the elevator with one other person, and I couldn't help but think that if one of us farted, we would both know who did it.

More fun than sitting on a water fountain in a shopping mall.

I thnk it is funny that I actually get paid for hitting f5 all day.

The Geeks will inhreit the earth, but they will only have read access

You should really go there and buy stuff. They have evil rabbit slippers for god's sake!

October 18th, 2007. I know you are a man with nothing to hide - not at least anything to hide that you have willingly revealed on your blog. Still, it can be a nudge unnerving if, say, you found that your father was reading your blog. At the least it could give you second thoughts about saying some things. Or not. Probably in your case not. Which is good because, remarkably, I am your father. And am glad to read that you're doing so well, and to hear more about the wonderful Patience.
I just flew done to the awful deep south and stored your grandmother away for the Winter, and just before Winter hit, too. Lucky timing. It's very cold and extremely windy here today. But I love it. The South was warm and muggy and despite every little half-assed effort I made to see it in a kinder light I was glad to leave it.
My current most-used email is blevins.george@gmail.com. Keep in touch. dad
